Life is always better when you're smiling.
Remember that whenever you are down.
There's no use sighing, moaning or crying.
So get rid of that frown!
It isn't always easy to be happy.
But don't think of the things that make you sad.
If you feel sorrow, look forward to tomorrow.
Then it won't be so bad.
Be grateful when you wake up every morning.
And find the strength to wipe away that tear.
No need to worry, regret or be sorry,
Live a life full of cheer.
Life is always a struggle, no doubt,
But keeping motivated is what it's all about.
Sometimes it's smooth, other times rough.
When things are hard you've got to be tough.
If something isn't going to your plan,
Start all over again, do the best you can.
But remember, never give up on your dreams,
No matter how wild or silly they seem.
And take a moment just to appreciate,
Look on the bright side, good times await!
In the world today, there's so much conflict and war.
I pray that one day there will be no more.
Yes, we are different, but that makes us unique.
Peace and harmony are the things we should seek.
Remember, we are all part of one Human Race,
And this is why we should unite and embrace.
Let our differences bring us together, not divide us.
From the bottom of my heart, may peace and love guide us.
The clock has just struck midnight

So let’s approach the future
Without any worry or fear.
It’s time to face new challenges
As a new chapter begins
Look forward to the outcomes
Whether they be losses or wins.
Though we cannot know the future
There will be good times and some bad
But no matter what the new year brings,
Make it the best year you’ve ever had!
Snowflakes falling from the sky,
Lots of presents piled up high.
Holly, ivy, mistletoe,
Stockings hung up in a row.
Choirs singing loud and clear
Carols for each one to hear.
Cosy houses lit at night,
Baubles sparkling in the light.
Christmas spirit's in the air,
Spending time with folks who care.
It's the best time of the year
All our friends and family near.
Admiring each greeting card,
Eating, drinking, partying hard!
Enjoying times with great company,
That's what Christmas means to me!
I am currently studying MSc Computer Science at the University of Kent. Previously I achieved a 1st class degree in BSc (Hons) Sound Technology & Digital Music.
I have worked in several industries, including film production, academic institutions and retail.
Outside of work I develop my portfolio in three areas: graphic design, photography and music.
